Triumph Beyond Trauma Podcast

IIt was a priviledge to be invited to take part in this amazing Podcast Series by Rosie Skene. Rosie is a former first responder that was forced to leave NSW Police due to injury. This is just one of the great things she is working on to address Mental Health in the First Responder and Veteran sectors.

Heart to Heart Walk

The Heart 2 Heart Walk is a 3,000km challenge linking Lambert Centre of Australia in the Northern Territory (Heart of Country) to Australia’s Parliament House in Canberra (Heart of Nation), aiming to draw attention to challenges around first responder mental health and wellbeing.The walk is from 1 July and finishes on 28 September 2023

52nd Liverpool Catholic Club Annual Mass & Luncheon

Supporting Youth Homelessness

15 October 2021:                        This year Beyond The Badge is proud to be supporting Stepping Stone House with their annual Sleep Under The Stars fundraising event. We would love you to join us and have some fun as well as raise some much needed funds to help keep our youth off the streets .

Covid-19 and impacts on First Responders

1 October 2021:                           Charles Sturt University have recently completed a study into the impacts of Covid-19 on our first responders. The study indicates a growing number are seeking new opportunities outside their chosen career due to the increased stress of this pandemic.

Hidden Talent for Recruiters

20 September 2021:                     We were recently invited to take part in a Webinar hosted by our great partner Jobadder. We were hosted by Martin Herbst the CEO of Jobadder  and together explored the hidden talent pool that exists for recruiters within the First Responder community

Dooleys Catholic Club Partner

15 September 2021:                    We are very excited to announce that Dooleys Catholic Club have come on board as a Financial Partner. Dooleys have generously provided financial support through a Club  Grant which will be utilised to conduct our three day Career Transition Program at the club in coming months. Invitations are currently open to any First Responder who resides or works in the area via Get in Touch.

Community Partner Clubs NSW

17 March 2021:                             Beyond The Badge has been granted Community Partner Status by Clubs NSW for 2021. This means a great deal to us as it it provides a gateway and a support structure as we increase our efforts to reach out to Clubs across NSW, especially in regional areas.
