Police Care Australia

Police Care Australia is a joint initiative of the National Police Memorial and the Police Federation of Australia to refer, support and educate police both serving and former along with their families and friends on all aspects of mental health and wellbeing.

Complimentary online counselling services are available for serving and former police along with resources for families.

Emerge @ See

Emerge and See was founded in 2021 by two mediclly retired NSW Police Officers with lived exprience. This charity assists NSW & ACT emergency service workers and their familes through the challenges of mental health. They provide support through: Support, Education and Empowerment through their four key principles of: Law, Medicine, Finance and Well-being.

 

Police Post Trauma Support Group

The PPTSG is a not -for -profit organisation that supports and assists serving and former police officers and their families. I’ts aim is to provide support and referals to those who are suffering from PTSI (which was formally known as PTSD), anxiety, depression and addictions, as well as to alleviate the isolation and stigma which is generally associated when disgnosed with these conditions.

Quest For Life Foundation

Quest for LIfe Foundation was established in 1989 by Petrea King after a series of personal traumas, the Quest for Life Foundation provides educational self-help programs and community-based workshops that encourage, educate and empower people to improve their resilience and peace of mind during times of illness, depression, grief and trauma. Quest encompasses an holistic approach to physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing. We are committed to making a positive difference in our community and more than 125,000 people have utilised Quest’s services since 1989.

Pro Patria Centre

Pro Patria Centre Wagga Wagga is an innovative multidisciplinary facility focused on developing self-agency in veterans, first responders and their families to manage their own wellbeing.

 

The Price of Protecting Others

Roger Eichler Is a former NSW Police Officer and a great friend of Beyond The Badge. Roger attended our Career Transition Program in 2019 and we hope we were able to help him in his challenging journey. He has held some great positions since leaving his Police career and has recently written a wonderful book about his life.
